Started my second part of the duty which was 3 trips on a 216. It came in 20 minutes late which was a bad start. When i got to piccadilly though the nice inspector asked me to cover a 218 instead all the way around to ashton. So only 1 full trip to do on the 216 and i have 20 minutes before i do it so i have got myself a brew and mellowing out for a while. Excellent.
I wonder which nice Inspector put you on 218s, I commend him for it as 217/218s are a far better route than 216s considering how quite they are alegedly compared to 216s.
ReplyDeleteOh it's nothing to do with a better routes or nicer drive. Its because the 218/217 is tendered so has to run. The 216 is deemed expendable to make this happen.
