If you hadn't guessed it's spotters day on the blog and i'm in big kid mode. Bike is in for repair so thought this would be fun and it is to be honest. Wanted the front seats but the usual free ticket holders have beaten me too it lol. So sat at the back in the anti social seats keeping order. Anyway i'm impressed at the investment our lancashire partners are getting in buses. Considering the crap we get left with at ashton it's very lush travel up here. Onwards to southport.
Fuengirola buses have received their second low floor vehicle, in an all over advertising livery, except for the yellow front. It's a MAN like the other, but shorter wheelbase. It's another second hand addition.
ReplyDeleteI believe stagecoach Chorley are getting about 40 brand new scanias for the 125 126 route. well worth a trip on it. Very nice ride. Almost as good as the X2
ReplyDeleteNot to sure whether you've heard but I believe that Stagecoach Manchester are due some more new buses shortly, apparantly Stockport are getting some Enviro 300s for 11 Altrincham-Stockport service and the rest will be new Enviro 400s, not to sure which Depot/s will be getting the new Enviro 400s though
ReplyDeleteWell i know we wont be getting any,Its an ongoing thing with the enviros. they get about 3 a week delivered. We get the off casts. No Ad-Blu any way so we cant have any. Heard a whisper we were getting 4 enviro 200s for the 7 service. Will believe it when it turns up.
ReplyDeletewhat dose No ad-blu mean?
ReplyDeleteBio Diesel. The Enviros from 57 onwards need it to run.
ReplyDeleteWould that be why their engines sound a little different?
ReplyDeleteYes very different some of the newer ones sound almost electric. The scanias though Growl where as the Dennis buses Whine and scream lol
