Just at preston. Is it me or does every bus station look better planned out than anything the pte builds. It really is a very busy place. Just about to get on 15469 which is a scania with enviro body bust with coach seats. This is on the x2 to southport. It does carry on to liverpool though.
Wasn't Preston voted the ugliest bus station in Britain? That may just be from the outside. Inside, it's OK but it's not great for that magnificent intitution - the queue - since everyone sprawls around. Miss using the X61 thouggh although I believe they still use the same buses on the route as when I went on them 8 years ago!
ReplyDeleteI have kept away from the x61 up to now. The local buses are a lot newer and nicer. The x2 was a great ride and was driven by a driver who would have no trouble keeping time on a 216 during friday afternoon rush hour.
