Unlike my youth when i used to get the last 421 home to fitton hill after a bus ride i'm now finishing off with a metrolink ride into manchester then bus to Oldham. Back to work tomorrow but not until 12.
Ahh the old 421 route, used to remember it and travel on it regular when it used to run, infact I remember the short lived extension to the route which saw it running to Manchester via Nuthurst Road, St Marys Road and then via Moston Ben Brieley into Manchester.
Not to sure whether you'll remember it but I also remember when my local bus company Citibus of Chadderton used to run the evening service for a time, used to ride round with a couple of their drivers at night as I got to know a couple of them
