Not much going on today. 216s were ok earlier. Did two trips and was on time on both. A lot of the roadworks have been opened up a little so there is only 2 sets of lights up now. I'm currently at stockport waiting to leave on my 330. Not seen any green buses in here yet. I thought they started in service today. Nice and early tomorrow so might head out on my bike. Will see how i feel when i crawl out of bed at 4am lol.
nice clean bus which one please. been away for 10 days in blackpool watched bus driver of the year stagecoach had 2 buses in. saw blackpools new single decker placktons in black and yellow livery in the compition. they started this morning on the promanade service instead of double deckers

ReplyDeleteBus was 19120. The route learning bus is for hyde road. They seem to be very short of drivers at the moment. They have spare drivers from other depots there at the moment. I would have gone but other things on next week;)
ReplyDeleteIve noticed the training vehicles seem to be replicating Hyde road services, for example the 231 and 168/169.

ReplyDelete19624 (?) was on 330 duty Monday. Thought Ashton didn't have later ones. Anyway, it seems different to a novice like me. Firstly, it doesn't rattle and the engine is much quieter. However it takes The Force to move it from 0 to 5mph. Is it just me?
ReplyDelete19624 is still on loan from stockport. Yeah its very slow taking off. its the economy drive on it. Not good for 216s though need buses that are a little sharper on the take off. Hyde road route learning bus is doing all the routes not just the Ashton based ones.
