How much?

The continuity between stagecoach areas is odd. The positioning of the fleet numbers, the sorry not in service message, the actual buses. But mostly the prices. This one is 20 quid for the week or 7 quid a day. Bit pricey i think. Anyway things are picking up today. It's the opening ceremony and i think the head cheese is coming to visit our site. There seems to be a lot of people cleaning up anyway for the first time this week. Getting a little fatigued now. There 5am wake ups and 9pm home times do catch up. We do get a 4pm finish tomorrow so i'm looking forward to that. Definatly need some me time, and a cosy bed too but that will have to wait until monday. Or tuesday if play runs over. All the roundabouts into our complex is littered with bus spotters now. And it's not suprising. It's like a who's who of stagecoach buses here at the moment with the scottish turning up last yesterday. They make up the 140 vehicles on this site.

    sounds like you are having a busy time down there

    just picked up a leaflet of the S50 speedwell are starting S48 free buses on eveings and sundays from 10th to 24th October

    S49 starts the same on 24th October to 7th November the service will be every 20 mins I have worked out they will only need 2 buses for the service

    Mic, they will need 3 if it takes 25 minutes in each direction, unless the 50 or 48 is interworked

    you are right they only use a solo on the Sunday S50

    I know that, with an infrequent visit by BNV aswell. small buses but they're always full on a sunday.

    The marshalls and enviros are planned for the 49

    I guess if they go ahead with the week days they will interwork with S50 then we will just have to wait and see

    The plan is indeed to continue to use Solo's on the Sunday S48/S50 and Darts on the S49. Depending on the success of the S49 they will then swap the Darts for the Enviros.
    Im guessing this is becuase the the Enviros use more fuel than the Darts.

    The S49 will also be free for the first two weekends, and all being well a weekday S49 will be launched early in 2011.

    thanks Felix had a ride on the 343 to Oldham and it was one of the lady drivers who use to be on the 354 service

    Oh well typical lol, i know they have been using at least two Solo's on it at different times last week.
