  1. this is another 33098 just checked my fleetbook and it has the same number of seats wondering if 34054 is to be replaced by 33174

  2. Judging by the pic, it has 'old' bus seats...similar to the S reg 300's...so you can tell the difference of you see it. I wonder if this'll be on the 217/8 lol

  4. I'm wondering whether it could fit round Glossop, only reason why I ask is that I was in Glossop last week talking to the 390 driver who just happened to be driving the Corrie Bus on 390s and he told me that the Solo is going through its normal unreliable patch again at the moment and is currently off the road, so I'm wondering whether its here for 390s, time will tell I suppose

  5. got report for this weeks bus news and it says 12027 to 56 are the new buses due with 12027 to 42 going to Princess Rd and the rest to Hyde Rd

  6. Mic that report is slightly out of date. All the new buses are now going to Princess road.

Busman the Solo was on the 390 last Tuesday as i travelled on it.
I would have thought it was too big for Glossop, even Ashtons smallest Dart carnt be used in Glossop.

  8. i did the 390 once with one of the old high floor darts/plaxton pointers, they will fit round most of the route, the only exception being wesley street/hope street in old glossop. it is very tight in other places though, particularly the turn onto thorpe street.

  9. Shouldnt use darts on the 390. not coz of the width. they get moored doing the left turn at the bottom of the hill from the hospital. the tail is too long for the turn.

  10. yes, thats thorpe street. aswell as being tight it is indeed steep, the high floors managed ok, the low floors probably wont
