Special treat.

Just on my second part. This is the beauty i have on the 330 today. I do like driving the older tridents. We did get rid of them all at ashton but they are back to cover other damaged or faulty buses. We currently have 17642,17647 and 17669. Replacing 22241 and 19084 that i know of.

They may be nice to drive but they're depressing to ride on.

Are there less buses on the 330 now since June as they're only every 9/10 minutes or have they just allowed more journey time due to the previous delays?

  2. The 330 came to be run from ashton depot in july. Before we had them they were every 8 minutes and seemed to travel in 3's and always seemed to run late. I don't know what times they had then but since we have been doing them they are every 9 minutes and seem to have plenty of time on them. It's a nice route i could do it everyday. Even joined the appreciation group on facebook lol.

I thought you hated the route you once called the "Bad Manners Express". The 330 in the morning that I get on, though usually on time, is always full. They're now every 10 minutes in the morning.

On the Trident/ALX400s, I think I prefer these over the Enviro400s.

  4. Not hated, I was suprised the first time i did it how bad peoples manners were, However!!! Over the past couple of months i think the punters have improved.. I still get to throw the odd scroat off for smoking or playing music and also snatch a few dodgy passes but its not as bad as when we first started. there are a lot of lads at Ashton who like the passwatch scheme and we take great pleasure in taking away misused passes this in turn brings the anti social behaviour down and its appreciated by a lot of passengers.

  5. Good choice of bus to Mr Branson. Tridents are great, the seats are so much more comfortable for the passenger. Oh passed you in Duki too on Friday afternoon lol.

Anything to stop the anti-social a-holes is much appreciated :-).

I was quite happy to be aboard one of these buses on the 1830 330 towards Hyde last night. Slightly less rattles than the modern Enviro 400s, though a little deficient in legroom at the front seat on the top deck.
