Hectic day

Today has seen a meltdown in manchester on the 216 route. Due to a crane lever street has been shut causing the service level to drop to almost zero. It seems just one thing after another. I however am on the taxi bus from depot to ashton bus station all afternoon. Glad of it too. Even if it does get boring sometimes.

  1. Glad I stayed away from there today. I notice they seem to be running double-deckers on the 346 now. Is Lodge Lane open yet?

  2. Everything is now open.

  3. I came home on 21:03 181 last night and both cranes had disappeared, I'm glad I had a nice day round Lancashire for a change, even managed a ride on a Leyland Olympian from Blackpool-Preston via Lytham and St Annes, an ex Preston Bus Example though.

I wonder which way 216s were being diverted yesterday due to the closure of Lever Street

  4. The crane is due back later. The diversion is dale st, newton st, piccadilly, left at piccadilly station, left be pc world then onto every street. Simples just not good on a busy saturday.
