This is the taxi bus at the moment. I'm was sat behind this on the way to work earlier. Not in the best of moods today. We have been told that we are no longer getting any new buses because the enviro 200s are being used on the 11 service instead of coming to us. We are getting more man buses instead which will be put on the 7s. Not good news for us. And bad news for the customers too.
Does this mean the 4 reaming Marshall Darts based at Ashton will be staying then?

Ashton depot seems to get the older buses other depots get the new ones is ashton the poor relation?
ReplyDeleteWe have had adblu delivered. The company has spent over 1k training drivers to drive these buses this week. It's all very odd. The darts are going and the man buses will be used instead.
ReplyDeleteOnce again it seems that us poor folk in Ashton are not good enough for new buses and get the vehicles the other depots dont require.
ReplyDeleteI would have thought the turning's at Market st in Droylsden would have been a little tight for a Man bus.
Its just like First ,that I drove for earlier this year , all the new buses at Oldham,Ashton (globe Lane ) gets all the sheds !
ReplyDeleteIts always been like that. Since the days when Dukinfield was part of PMT it was always the dumping ground for older buses and its been that way ever since.
