Something different.

I'm currently on the A6 at stockport watching 192s. This bus was in the depot. It was involved in an accident a few months ago and seems to have come out a little more colourful. The numbers above the door and the side logo are both very different to the rest of the fleet making this bus a little unique to anyonne slightly interested in buses.

  1. Probably repaint mistakes - ive seen few buses with the odd fonts with fleet numbers such as 22091 and 22144 (both starting with big fat number 2's) - pic of 22091 here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mals_uk_buses/5109492853/sizes/l/in/photostream/

  5. Saw 22167 on 236/7 on monday - only did short duty then 36430 took over the duty for the rest of the day.

Something still strange about of the common presence of 19017/79 appearing in Ashton frequently, saw 19017 on the 219 and 19079 parked up at Ashton not in service!
22094 surely dissapeared now, nowhere around.

  6. Yesterday (30th june) I was on the 217 for a trip round Mossley to Stalybridge, I was waiting at Tameside hospital for 217 to arrive, 22186 turned up with no destination display on the front, only working on the side and rear, left few passengers comfused, one passenger thought that the bus was 'Not in Service' few passengers complained to the driver about it and the driver tried restarting the bus to make it work - it didnt make things better.

22156/80 not been seen for nearly 2 weeks now, anything happened to them?

I think it's 19497 now based at Hyde Road, that has very small lettering on its fleet number on the front below the destination display. 19252 at Sharston has a blue fleet number in the same place. Both originated at Princess Road.

  10. A major front end smash, which resulted in the vehicle going to plaxtons for a frontal rebuild. They fitted the incorrect, larger numbers and decals.
