Seen it all before! Expect Stagecoach to run extra buses along the same route and the traffic commissioner to back Stagecoach in the ensuing dispute.

It won't last and here is why.
It's just like the trains in California last Century or even the century before that.
Everytime someone started a competitive service the big evil rail barons would run those routes at a loss and drive the new boys out of business.
This is looking like it will be a repeat of an old old story.
And once the big evil barons have run the new boys off the road, they will announce a "spring clean" of their timetable which will result in fewer vehicles on that route than existed prior to entry of the competitor. Having been forced to run the route at a loss in the process of ridding itself of the new entrant, a "revised fare structure" will also follow.
