Off today and the sun came out for a moment so i headed off to the
goskyride.com all looked a bit too civil and organised for me. I don't need telling how to cross a road. So i headed onto a little cycle track that had this 86 on it. What a great find i didn't think there was anything nice in beswick but i was so wrong. There are trees and a river. Been through daisy nook on the way down got some nice pics of something else i found. Will upload them when i get home. On ashton old road now wondering where to go next?
Yes, I was on the SkyRide and it was a pain being stopped by someone with a magic yellow skipping rope every time an old lady with her dog looked like they might want to cross the road. I too eventually dived off the route and went back on the Ashton canal.
ReplyDeleteYip was very annoying. Just home got loads to post. Ended up the old road to gorton then through to the ashton canal up to stalybridge then came off through stamford park then upto the pike. Shattered now but much better than being told where to go. And i didnt have to wear a stupid yellow vest lol.
