Many years ago when i was a very young man. When i wasn't out on bus rides i used to help the local milk man. One of the places we delivered to was a farm at the bottom of Crime Lane at Bardsley. This is the farm now. I cannot understand why its gone. was a big farm with animals. as you can see the building over the bridge is still there but the main farm building in all gone. Was so interesting riding round and so many people miss the steps at the side of the bridge at the mbottom which leads to stannybrook road.
