This chemist has been here forever but when I was last in there in May most of the shelves were empty. My sister informed me that the chemist is moving somewhere near Manor Park. The building now painted yellow used to be the local Woolworths.
The Duke's of Norfolk used to own most of the land in Glossop and had a Large House (Hunting Lodge) in the town until the 1920's. The current Duke of Norfolk is also Baron Howard of Glossop.
