  2. It's all part of the new "relaunch" of the "new high frequency services". I think they intend to do the rebranding on all the routes that offer a 10 minute frequency. The daft thing is though, they've taken a lot of deckers off the 83 service (replacing them with B7's and non low-floor buses) and put them out in the 58 livery - 58's don't need the capacity, but the 83's definately do !!!! So you can expect to see other high frequency rebranding in the near future.

    2. That's why First give us wallets for weekly tickets, they're great for securing rattling windows too ..lol... I travelled on 62218 (from the bus station to the depot) the other day, so I know exactly what you mean.

  3. I see First are offering cheaper day and weekly tickets on the 17/18, similar to the ones offered on the 348/350. Good to see them giving JPT a run for there money, about time too!

    1. Looks like JPT will have to change the ads on the back of their buses now, about not over-charging like their competitors ;-)

    2. Was thinking the same thing myself today when I saw one of jpt's buses.
Like them or loath them it's good to see First finally competing in a passenger friendly way rather than just running 'floaters'.

    3. Not too sure how long the promotion will last for, it may keep on going as long as the return tickets on the 81's and 425's (which only started out as a temporary promotion).
I agree though, some of their prices are a bit steep when compared with other companies. It means less hassle for us Drivers too - not as many price complaints ...lol...
