The End

The past 18 months since i started this blog have been a great part of my life. I love my job more than ever and trully believe i will succeed in my chosen career path and with a lot of hard work and determination, be the best at what i do. It's come to light recently that maybe not all the content on the blog is seen as in good taste. I have always posted what i have seen as interesting things that show the inside workings of what we do, not only at stagecoach but in the bus industry as a whole. Plus a few days out on my bike too. It's been fun but i am unable to continue with it. It's been nice to be able to fight the company corner from the sidelines and i'm sure any problems that are still going on will get solved in time. This picture is my car on friday morning. Was pretty cold indeed. Back to work tomorrow in Piccadilly at 930 here is hoping for an easy day. Hope you all have a good christmas and all the best for the future and thanks for taking the time to read about me and what i do. Simon.

Gutted pal, always a good read and not many drivers blogs knocking around.

Shame really as you always did show stagecoach in a favourable light!!

    Good luck though pal

    Regards

Its been an excellent insight into your life as a Stagecoach driver in Manchester, all the best with the inspecting and keeping an eye on those dodgy megariders.

    such a shame!

i was hoping to read about the buses of manchester from an inspectors point of view.

as an ex-stagecoach employee i know how funny the management can get over the most minor of things, so i completely understand!

    all the best

  11. I too had the same ritual of reading your blog daily. Interesting stuff. I especially liked the reports on dodgy car drivers.
Possibly you can resurface in another guise after a suitable break.
    Hope you do.
    Mike.

    Simon

I can only echo those comments already made. It brings a tear to my eye to know that this blog will be no more. What a fantastic one it has been as you took us on your journeys through the past couple of years. You have given us a most valued insight into the Tameside/Manchester bus world which we never would have had was it not for your intelligent, interesting, at times funny pieces on life working for the UK's 2nd largest bus operator. And we would be all the worse without it.

May I take this opportunity to thank you for all the time you have put into this blog over the past couple of years, and also to wish you every success in the future with the career you love.
