What a long day.

Well what a long long day. I am now at Hartshead Pike. This is overlooking Oldham. Luckily the journey home is downhill. Great scenery though.

Monday blues,

Off until wednesday so thought i would come to the grew rainy park. This is a panoramic from the top of alexandra park. It is raining a little but needed to get out. Either this or go out to the pub. Lol. I notice i even got a mention on martin bryants site manchester buses yesterday.his blog is listed at the bottom. Anyway onwards and upwards, blog you later.

It would appear to be the prophet mohammeds birthday and it was celebrated with a march through Oldham. Sorry if the spelling is a bit rubbish.

A lonely saturday morning.

So. Started at 6ish. Went to Glossop. Now i am on my way to gee cross. On the way though i parked up near hattersley, well in.between the two parts of the estate for my cornflakes. It's nice up here as long as you don't go into hattersley. Oh well will crack on. Only working till 12 today so not sure what i will be doing later yet.

I took this earlier today. I had just left guide bridge. A very heavy storm followed.

Early morning

Just starting out. On 22234 for the anaraks. It's cold out. I have the joys of doing 2 schools this morning. One of them is horrid kids. Will see how we go. On this bus till 11am.

Stagecoach Ashton depot

Here is a very short video of the new Stagecoach depot in ashton under lyne. This is taken from the new canteen. The back ground music is sadly from someone watching bargain hunt. It's the middle of the day so all these buses will be gone by about 4pm for the afternoon peaktime services and schools. It's a nice place to work here with a nice atmosphere and people.

I hate mondays

Well it all started so well. Filthy bus finally cleaned up for service now after 200 yards the bus has broken down. Whats worse is the terrible position it is in. It's blocking the entrance to our yard.

More filth

This is the pile of rubbish from the lower saloon of the enviro i had this morning. People really are treating these buses like bins.

Sunday morning travels

I am just getting into Oldham town center thought i would snap the Oldham mumps railway line. Soon to be closed whilst metrolink work starts.

Nice day

We are in the park feeding the ducks. Nice to get a day off.

Trying something new.

I am sat at the terminus at littlemoss. It's very nice out. Thought i would try to upload a video. I am sure my blog will be less random in the future. Lol.

Another hate

I took this earlier this morning. This driver thought it was fine to park in the bus layby to answer his phone. It wouldn't be so bad if he went to one end or the other but no. The idiot decided to park in the middle.

This is my beast for this morning. Nice bus and it's warm. This is at glossop royal oak terminus.

New day. Looks like sunshine after. Window in car is frozen this morning. Just hope the bus has working heaters. There are so many of them that don't work.

Dirty people

I was sat at some traffic lights today this driver decided it was ok to through his cig out of the window. His driving was just as bad as his manners.

Changes are afoot

What an interesting day. I am currently on a 7 doing route learning. For years the 7 and 345 have been serviced by the charles street depot of stagecoach but from 19th april these will be serviced by the new ashton branch. This i am sure is the start of the charles street shutdown but only time will tell.
