For years i have driven past stamford park and never gone in. I just cycled up the park and it's very very nice. It's very busy too so didn't want people thinking i was taking pics of kids. Sad world yes i know. Will get one pics through the week when it's quiet. There is even a crazy golf and a train going through it. Brilliant. This pic is inbetween the boating lake and mossley road. Just about to have my picnic i raided from asda on the way up.
The fishing lake is more interesting these days than the boating lake. When we were first married though many an afternoon we'd go down to Stamford Park and row three times round the island - once I rowed four times round but only the once.
